Blocky Overtake X is a high-speed, unique arcade driving experience, featuring blocky, voxel‑style gameplay. Taking on the role of a car driver, your only goal is to weave through busy traffic, perform close overtakes, and drive as far as possible without crashing. There are no specific missions or finish lines to reach or achieve; aim for your best points and travel the greatest distances, as well as unlock all your dream vehicles within the game.
You can hit the road instantly after selecting a preferred vehicle. There's only the red pickup truck available at the beginning, but over time, you can unlock more advanced vehicles.
When you are ready, press the accelerators to speed up. At high speed (above 100km/h), players score points faster. Steer between lanes to avoid cars, trucks, and other vehicles to keep the run alive. Stay alert, as traffic becomes faster and more crowded the farther you travel, and a collision means game over right away.
Passing vehicles safely at high speed grants bonuses, especially if you can chain smooth combos. Of course, overtaking also increases the risk of crashing, so be sure you can master this skill.
When traffic becomes too crowded in Blocky Overtake X or your car is about to hit another vehicle, press the brake button to decrease the speed or even stop moving immediately to avoid crashing. Prioritize safety to maintain your run, and you can speed up again at any moment.
You earn coins based on your performance. Use them to unlock new cars and improve each’s speed, acceleration, handling, and braking, making future runs easier and safer.
Keep driving without colliding with other vehicles and retry for farther distances covered. The longer you survive and the more skilful your overtakes are, the higher your final score and rewards will be.
